HOTELS/ACCOMMODATIONS - The Admiral Fell Inn is located just a block from the ceremony site at 888 South Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231. It is located 1401 Bloomfield Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21227. This is just down the road from the reception. The rate is $79 for a one bed room and $99 for a double bed room per night. There is a free complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, the MARC and Amtrak railways, and the Light Rail. The Marc and Amtrak trains are a convenient way to travel to and from Washington, D.C. The Light Rail provides transportation to and from Downtown Baltimore. So, if you want to park at the $5 parking garage next to the ceremony site, you can take the shuttle to the reception and back. If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking at the reception site. Baltimore also has a water taxi to transport people from the Inner Harbor to Fells Point and back (as well as other points of interest along the Inner Harbor). An all-day pass for adults is $9; kids pay $4. For you more adventurous types, the Maryland Transit Administration operates a Light Rail train from BWI to Baltimore and points north. Numerous buses crisscross Baltimore, and a Metro system connects the main points of the city as well. Several day passes are available, so check the website for details. |
